The season is coming to an end. There have been some surprises (Gravity and Giants) and a fair share of disappointments (CW, C9, and TDK) which have all lead to another great year for the LCS. Week 8 was one of my better weeks for my picks and it would have been even better if Adrian would have been around for his 2nd game (I counted his as not available since it was an unforeseen circumstance that lead him to not playing). As of now I’m sitting at 57% right on my picks for the year, so I will need a big 9 win week to get to the 60% mark I was shooting for. Here are the results from last week followed by the picks for the final week of the LCS.

All-in Projected Actual W or L
CaboChard 25 37.71 W

Enemy 28 2 W
This Week W-L 8W-3L Total W-L 47W-34L-1T

All-in (players that will score more than their projections)

Top- Balls (proj: 23pts) Cloud9 has looked better every week since Hai has returned. The last two weeks Balls has scored 47 and 39 points it is safe to say he will score close to that this week facing off against TSM and TDK.

Jung- IWillDominate (proj: 28pts) Dom has scored more than 28 points in every single week this fantasy season so that alone is enough to put him on the All-in list. He also seems to play well when facing tough competition so I like his chances to get near the 40’s this week against Team 8 and Impulse.

Mid- Pepiinero (proj: 35pts) Pepiinero has been a surprise fantasy option this year. He has had some of the best weeks of any midlaners, but he also has his moments where he can’t really get going. Even though the Giants will have another tough week, Pepii will have a new pair of carry pants on to keep his team in both of their games.

ADC- CoreJJ (proj: 31pts) CoreJJ may be one of the more underrated ADCs in the LCS he has performed well 5 of the 8 weeks. 31 points isn’t a hard number for ADCs to get to, and with the way Dig played last week it shows they have a little left in the tank for the final week of the season. Expect CoreJJ to be around 40 points when the week is done.

Supp- Hylissang (proj: 20pts) Hylissang has scored more than 20 points in all but 2 weeks this split and both were in the first half of the season. UoL is still fighting for a playoff spot so you can expect them to play well in both games. This is a no doubter all-in.

Team- TiP (proj: 19pts) Team Impulse’s lowest scoring week this split has been 23 points all the way back in week 2. They have 4 straight 30+ weeks. So even if they play poorly and split 1-1 they will most likely still score in the low to mid 20’s.

Fold (players that will score less than their projections)

Top- Werlyb (proj: 31pts) The Giants have been trying to fight for their playoff spot, but they have looked weaker as the season has progressed. When Werly plays well the Giants are a better team, but his inconsistency hurts them. Werly has only broken 30 points 3 times this split and facing off against UoL and CW it looks as though he will fall short again.

Jung- Move (proj: 38pts) Move has stolen 35 dragons and barons this year (approximately). Even though he seems to be able to out smite anyone he won’t be able to reach his projection again this week. Gravity has Impulse and TDK on the docket so he won’t have the opportunity to score big points since they will lose to Impulse and beat TDK in a timely manner.

Mid- Ninja (proj: 36pts) Ninja is a great player, but this game is a team game, and TDK isn’t working together at all. Ninja will have his moments this week, but don’t expect him to reach his projection.

ADC- Otter (proj: 38pts) NME is riding a tough losing stretch (momentum matters). They have guaranteed that they won’t be auto relegated (no real reason to win). Those factors and their match-ups (TSM and Dig) will result in another bad scoring week for NME players.

Supp- Lustboy (proj: 39pts) Lustboy has only surpassed 39 points once this season (week 3 with 42 points). TSM is really struggling and Lustboy hasn’t looked as confident or as dominant as he did last split. The last 4 weeks he is averaging just 25 points a week. Fold Lustboy for another option.

Team- Giants (proj: 30pts) Giants has been interesting all year they have been more competitive than most thought they would, but they haven’t been a great fantasy play. They have broken 30 points 3 times this season so they should be a safe fold.

5th ranking post, only one more to go. This is my favorite post because I main support when I play league (yes, a bronze/silver player mains support…pray for me). Even though support is the lowest scoring position overall, it also created some of the biggest gaps in points scored, so grab a good support when you can, or you will get the joy of playing who is the support on a hot streak. I will put the supports in numerical order then I will break them into tier lists.

1. FNC Yellowstar

2. TSM Lustboy

3. GMB Gosu Pepper

4. H2K Kasing

5. CLG Aphromoo

6. Gravity BunnyFuFu

7. CW Unlimited

8. SK nRated

9. Liquid Xpecial

10. TiP Adrian

11. UoL Hylisang

12. Origen Mithy

13. C9 Lemonnation

14. T8 Dodo8

15. Roccat Vander

16. Dig KiwiKid

17. Elements PromisQ

18. NME Bodydrop

19. Giants Rydle

20. TDK Smoothie

1-4 These are the top dogs of support, they make plays for their teams, and they have high scoring ADCs to help boost their assist numbers. They will probably have the biggest weeks of all the supports, and they will have the least amount of down weeks. These are the ones to pull the trigger on early in your draft.

5-9 I think I like this group of supports more than the first, but I recognize from a fantasy perspective they haven’t shown to be quite as good as the first group. I’m high on Liquid performing well this split which is why Xpecial made it in the top 10. And even though nRated and Gravity probably won’t have the highest scoring ADCs each week they both are very good in the roam/team fighting parts of the game that their numbers should be high without having dominate ADCs.

10-14 These 5 were tough for me, because I wanted to put them higher, but had to be realistic about what they do for their teams, and what they have shown in previous splits. I do think C9 will be higher scoring across the board this split, but I think they will still play a C9 calculated style more often than not, which will lead towards lower scoring games. Mithy also could be to high on my list, but I like the veteran aspect of Origen’s team.

15-17 These 3 are the ones who will have a few weeks of big points when their teams or carries get going, but more often than not they won’t be worth owning at all. These are the gut picks. If you like them grab them as a backup, but I won’t be taking them until they show me something.

18-20 I think these guys will just be at the bottom most weeks. Its always easy to put the newer teams players at the bottom of rankings simply because its hard to predict how well a team will do from the CS league to the LCS stage.

Those are my support rankings and I’m sticking to them! I hope you enjoyed the post, and stay tuned for the Team rankings that will go up later tonight. Hello everyone. Its good to be back and writing about the fantasy LCS. I apologize again for my recent hiatus. Life got busy with work, and family in town as the wife and I prepare for our first baby. I didn’t get to watch all of the last two weeks, but it looked like there were some exciting games, and some teams continued their winning ways. Now onto my all-in and fold picks for the final week of the Spring Split

ALL-IN (These are players I expect to outperform their projections)

Top – TL Quas (Projection: 33pts) Team Liquid has one of the easiest schedules in the LCS this week. They play Dig and Winterfox. Even though they have been inconsistent especially when Piglett is their ADC. I expect them to win both of their games this week, and all of their players to perform well. I know they want to be in the playoffs and they will have to win both if they want to guarantee it.

Jungle – CW Airwaks (Projection: 30 pts) CW also has an easy schedule this week. They face Roccat and Giants in their final matchups. I fully expect them to end their losing skid the last two weeks and regain some of that midseason mojo when they won 5 in a row. I’m all-in on CW and Liquid players this week.

Mid – TL Fenix (Projection: 37 pts) See Quas’ description. Two good lane matchups, but Fenix does a lot for his team, and I like his champion pool.

ADC – Roc Woolite (Projection: 34 pts) Roccat has been very inconsistent this year. Their play has gotten a little better over the last 4 weeks though. I think with Woolite’s matchups against CW and MYM he can put up some good numbers. I think the CW game will be close with Roccat losing, but I think the MYM game could be a shootout with both teams trying to secure a win to ensure they get to stay in the LCS.

Support – CW Unlimited (Projection: 31 pts) See Airwaks description. Two good bot lane matchups for CW and I expect him and freeze to put up BIG numbers.

Team – CW (Projection: 32 pts) My rule for teams has been if they are going to win both games they will most likely break the 30 point mark and if they are going to lose one, they won’t break the 30 point mark. I expect CW to win both games, and perform well in both. I think a 36 point week is in their future.

FOLD (These are players I think will do worse than their projections)

Top – WFX Avalon (Projection: 32 pts) Winterfox has been 0-6 in the last 3 weeks. They face team Liquid in their first game and Team Coast in their 2nd. They should win the 2nd game against Coast, but I don’t think they will do enough for Avalon to break the 30 point barrier. A lot of the Winterfox players have high projections this week and I would say beware of starting any of them because of their inconsistency this split.

Jungle – UOL Kikis (Projection: 31 pts) Kikis has averaged just over 20 points a game this split, but for the most part he has been more of a feast or famine jungler (4 weeks over 40 points 3 weeks under 30 points). The matchups this week make me hesitant to start him (Gambit and SK). If he is your only jungler he won’t drop a sub 15 week, but I really don’t think he will break the 30 point mark this week. SO I’m folding Kikis this week.

Mid – Team8 Slooshi8(Projection: 35 pts) Team 8 has been on a roll as of late, but I think this is the week it comes to a crashing halt. Slooshi’s per game average would put him at 36 points for the week, but again I have a bad feeling about Team 8 this week. I’m going to fold on Team 8 players this week.

ADC – CLG Doublelift (Projection: 40 pts) Doublelift has been averaging just under 20 points a game so far this split. Plus with two tough opponents in the upcoming week, I don’t think he will get to the 40 point mark. I would say he is a fold candidate if you have another good ADC on your team.

Support – TSM Lustboy (Projection: 41 pts) I love Lustboy. He has single handedly won some teamfights for TSM this split. I think he won’t quite be able to reach the 41 point mark this week though. TSM vs C9 has always been very 1 sided matches so no team scores tons of points and TSM’s game against Coast should be a sub 30 minute game which will also result in a low point total. I think Lustboy is amazing just not this week in Fantasy.

Team – CLG (Projection: 28 pts) CLG has once again had a 2nd half of the season that has been less than great. They are still winning more than they are losing, but they aren’t showing the same dominance they were early season. They have two tough matchups in Impulse and Team 8. So I expect them to lose 1 of those games, and if they do they won’t hit the 28 point mark.

As always thanks for reading, and don’t forget to follow me on twitter, facebook, or subscribe to the blog.

I also wanted to let you all know that this Saturday I will be doing a stream-a-thon on Twitch.TV to raise money for a Honduras Mission trip I am taking with some teens this summer (Remember I’m a youth minister). We are going to be helping build a school in Honduras this summer and would love for you all to come check out the stream this Saturday and if you feel inclined to give you can donate during the stream.

Have a wonderful day, and good luck in your final week of Fantasy LCS.
